Accepting card payments with Stripe

Connect your Stripe account so customers can save a card and pay invoices from the billing portal.

Connect your Stripe account

Open More → Settings → Stripe payments. Tap the row to start Stripe's standard onboarding flow:

  1. The app opens Stripe in your browser. Either sign in to an existing Stripe account or create a new one in the same flow.
  2. Provide the business details Stripe needs to verify you — business name, address, banking info, tax ID, and identity documents if required.
  3. When Stripe is done, you're redirected back to myPoolFlow. The settings row now shows Connected — ready to accept card payments.

What changes once Stripe is connected

With a connected Stripe account, the Billing tab on every client unlocks Send card setup link, Add/Update card manually, and Charge card. Work-order deposit links also become payable in the customer-facing portal.

Disconnect Stripe

Tap the Stripe row again when it's connected and confirm Disconnect. Customers will still see existing invoices and visit history, but card features turn off until you reconnect.

Money flow and fees

myPoolFlow uses Stripe Connect's standard model: customers pay your Stripe account directly, and Stripe deposits to your bank on Stripe's payout schedule. myPoolFlow never touches the money — Stripe's normal processing fees apply. Your bank account, payouts, refunds, and disputes are managed in your Stripe dashboard.
